Biography

Laura is a graduate of the RCS with a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Theatre Practice and is currently studying towards an MA in Dance and Somatic Well-being at the University of Central Lancashire.

Biography

Laura makes performance both alone and in collaboration with others. Over the last 7 years Laura has worked with Fish and Game on Otter Pie, Uninvited Guests on It is Like it Ought to Be (A Pastoral) and Nic Green on the award-winning Trilogy, taking work with these companies and others to such diverse venues as Tullinessle Community Hall in the North of Scotland and the Barbican in London. Laura’s solo work has been shown in Glasgow, Manchester and Lancaster.

Laura has worked in a variety of different contexts including schools and nurseries, family support groups and with young people.

Alongside this work Laura also works as a freelance storyteller, promoting and celebrating the tradition of oral-storytelling to strengthen communities. 

Teaching commitments

Laura Bradshaw works as part time Lecturer in Contemporary Performance Practice with responsibility for Daily Practice.
