Research interests
My research looks at exploring the relationships between music-performer-listener in a musical encounter model that is characterised by an active and reciprocal engagement between participants.
My research explores live musical encounters providing data which supports the importance of live performer to the listener experience.
Interest in this area of music covers a wide range of different research fields such as sociology, psychology and education.
