Blue Mondays: Jazz and Harps with Mario Caribé

This Blue Monday we invite the harp students to collaborate with the Jazz Department and also feature the jazz bassists. The program will present the four years separately in the first half of the concert, each performing tunes that highlight the jazz bass within the ensemble. The second half will feature two harp quartets and a double bass quintet, finishing with an arrangement of Wayne Shorter’s Footprints especially written for all the students in an extended twenty-eight piece ensemble.
