This collaborative concert between the University of Glasgow Music Medics Society and the German chamber choir Vokalensemble Crescendo, conducted by Volker Hagemann, was facilitated in part by the Goethe-Institut. Among the tour delegation was Dr Katrin Klose, PhD alumna of the RCS.
The concert featured the world premieres of two new works composed by Kenneth Tay specially for the occasion: Air and Kiss from the Celtic Shores, and Improvisation on Lobe den Herren and Crimond. A work by fellow RCS PhD alumna Lisa Robertson, Dona nobis pacem, was also performed.
