N2 - This concert is the result of the collaboration between staff and PhD composers at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, with the St Andrews Madrigal Group, and organist Alan Kitchen.
Kenneth Tay was the curator of the concert, which was held in Glasgow Cathedral on 11 April 2025.
The programme featured the world premieres of As the Rain Hides the Stars by Ailie Robertson and Miserere mei, Deus by Kenneth Tay. The choir also performed Locus Iste by Tom David Wilson. Two organ works by Emily Doolittle were also performed: Variation 21 flessible and Becoming.
Rest, by Kate Sagovsky was explored in rehearsal readings in preparation for this concert, and subsequently premiered at St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh, on 1 June 2025.
