Details

A participatory project documenting migrant interactions with the border separating Ireland and the United Kingdom. It reframes migrant border crossings - sanctioned or undocumented, documentary, or fictional - as migrant border performances and works to create a physical archive of these ‘works’.

The project will develop over through a field trip, taking Bojana and her collaborator, artist Nessa Finnegan, from Glasgow to Cairnryan, Belfast, Derry, and Dublin. Travelling on sea and road, they will document how the border is enacted and enforced, navigated and avoided, engaging with migrant communities to create and present the Shared Migrants Archive.
