‘The Art of Education: Interdisciplinarity, Historically Informed Performance and a castrato pedagogue’

Research output: Contributions to conferencesPaper

Details

In this Exchange Talk, Brianna will discuss her inspiration for establishing the Eighteenth-century Arts Education Research Network (EAERN), an interdisciplinary network that brings practitioners and academics together to investigate new approaches in using 18th-century education materials. The project has highlighted the need for better communication and methods of working across different disciplines where performance is at the centre of research. In doing so, new insights can be discovered about these 18th-century materials that previously went unrealised when investigated using traditional methods of research.
