Details
This article assesses stylistic links within the musical styles of Johannes Ockeghem (c.1425–1497) and Alexander Agricola (c.1455–1506), who worked alongside each other at the French royal court at an unspecified period (before 1492). This assessment draws on the observations of Michel Foucault on the 'author function', and assesses its applicability to the study of stylistic analysis.
