I am a member of the Performance, Ecology and Heritage research hub, who are a group of researchers and practitioners in the Theatre Studies team at Glasgow whose work engages with configurations of and intersections between theatre/performance, ecology and heritage. Our research and practice takes multiple forms, asks diverse questions and occupies different positions. Our shared aim, however, it to investigate the potential and limitations of theatre and performance as ecological practices. That is, we seek to ask what theatre and performance can do to help us understand our humanity in a world that we see as much more than human.
