About
SNJO Trombonist Chris Greive will be featuring his love of Early Jazz at this concert. In his role as RCS Jazz History lecturer, and also remembering his early playing days, Greive holds the older styles of Jazz as a key component in a musicians study.
Featuring such tunes as Royal Garden Blues, St Louis Blues, Exactly Like You & That’s a Plenty this will be a chance to hear the Jazz students delve into and perform history. And of course the beautiful melodies of yesteryear like Stardust & Blue Skies will feature alongside an ‘All In’ finale done in the traditional New Orleans way.
