Première of:
Marco De Biasi - Vento d'Inverno
Marco Ramelli - Blue, homage to Van Gogh

The journey of this concert starts from the colourful 'Waltz' by Augustin Barrios Mangorè, just like the stunning 'The Campbell Sisters dancing a Waltz' by Bartolini welcomes the visitors at the entrance of this museum. The core part of this programme is focused on the impressionistic music written by Spanish composers.

In the music of Miguel Llobet and Manuel De Falla the folkloric element from Catalogna is revisited and absorbed in a new impressionistic language. Their aesthetics is influenced by the works of Debussy and Ravel but also is a continuation of the work of Francisco Tarrega who, like Daubigny in painting, was a precursor. His research on tone and technique was fundamental in the development of this new poetic on the guitar.

To enrich the programme, two new premiére by two Italian composers. The first one was written by Marco De Biasi, a painter, composer and performer awarded in many international composition competitions worldwide. The second premiére 'Blue' by Marco Ramelli is a personal homage to the great painter Vincent Van Gogh.
