(Two Openings): for two gamelan musicians

There are a number of pieces of musical material in my output that I refer to as ‘openings’, ‘flexible bits of musical material, to re-use; sometimes as stand-alone pieces, more often as part of a bigger piece’. For the Gamelan Composers Forum in March 2016, I arranged two of these existing pieces of material, ‘fibblestix’ and ‘Adrift & Afloat’ into a format suitable for performance by two gender, adding an interlude and a coda.
