About
This performance paper seeks to develop and re-imagine the extant concept - re/wilding - through ‘knotting’ it together with performance. By reflecting on my practice-led PhD performance project Wild Life, I ask what the re/wilding of performance might be. I untangle what performance processes might renegotiate the interface between human and nonhuman, and also serve socio-political quests for ecologically sustainable futures. I interweave critical and desk-based research with creative reflection, producing what is both a scholarly discussion and performance itself.
