A talk about a particular series of concerts in Edinburgh, locating the festival in the context of other festivals during the late 18th-19th centuries, and mentioning key figures involved in the festival. Music librarians at Edinburgh City Library and the National Library of Scotland mounted exhibitions to coincide with this talk.
