Biography

Course Leader - Royal Conservatoire Singers

Maximilian currently conducts the Strathclyde University Chorus and the Royal Conservatoire Singers in Glasgow. He is assistant conductor for the Carlisle Community Choir and has also conducted for the Bearsden Singers, Kilbarchan Singers, and the Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society while being in Glasgow. He started his own choir at school which performed in over 17 concerts, touring twice to Italy, and raised over £10,000 for charity through their concerts in the UK. Maximilian is also conductor for the Old Bradfieldian Choir and Orchestra, and conducted a tour of Italy with students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2013.


Maximilian’s future engagements include conducting Rossini’s ‘La Cambiale di Matrimonio’, which is touring to Italy in September 2014. This production will then be put together with orchestra in February 2015 when it will be touring Scotland. Maximilian currently studies voice and piano at the Royal Conservatoire, and is taught by Scott Johnson.
